Klarinet Colliery

Klarinet Colliery is also located on the farm Blesboklaagte, which is situated 8 km west of Witbank, Mpumalanga.

Mining operations extends to the mining of pillars remaining from historical underground operations. Coal mined from this operation is suitable for local power plants, industrial use and beneficiates well for export.

A 300 ton per hour (tph) beneficiation plant, currently under construction, is planned to be commissioned during late February 2022. This plant will offer products such as duff, peas, nuts, and/or products for exports, i.e. 6,000 kcal/kg ; 5,800 kcal/kg ; 5,500 kcal/kg & 4,800 kcal/kg.
